Harley Quinn's Secret Origin
Adam Glass has blown me away with how great his Suicide Squad has been. It's been deadly, fun, and entertaining for the past five issues. Does issue #5 stop the streak of violence and fun?
THE GOOD:
I really like the art in this issue. The lines are well defined and the character expression is priceless. The way Clayton Henry draws the violence is great and entertaining. The story is actually my favorite part of this issue. I really liked seeing Harley Quinn's descending to the Joker. I really liked how smart and strong Adam Glass made her. I really liked how the characters or Lime and Light are in the series after appearing in Green Arrow. This book is connecting with tons of series, Detective, Green Arrow, and Stormwatch it feel like a dark and connected series in the DCU.
THE BAD:
There is a lot of violence in this comic, which is fine with me but some people aren't going to want to read this. I also wish that there would be more likable characters because I only really like a few of the characters and the rest could die for all I car. (I'm sure some of them will.)
THE VERDICT: 4.5/5 (Amazing)
I really like this version of the team and I really hope that some of the characters live a bit longer. I'm really excited to see more of Harley Quinn and the Joker and see if the Joker is really alive or dead. If you like reading a good comic with a lot of violence and suspense, you going to love this series and I suggest that you get it.
