razzatazz's Suicide Squad #4 - Bad Company review

Consider me very focused right now

After four issues, the new version of the Suicide Squad wraps up the first story arc in this issue.  It was a bit of an effort to get here, but this is an entertaining enough issue.  By the time that Captain Boomerang showed up at the end of the previous issue it seemed as if things were heading downhill in this series, but he ends up being used here pretty well, facing off with Deadshot about how to handle the mission.  The team is still interested in getting the information they need about the virus out and as soon as possible, but while the wrapup of the story arc was decent the thing which saves this issue is really the somewhat surprise ending with an excellent premise.  The characters are still being a little wasted on this series, but they seem to be less so here, and maybe things will turn around here after all.

Adam Glass and Federico Dallocchio have surprised me with how incredible this series has been. Do they continue the shocks and awes in this issue?  THE GOOD: I really like the art. It's very clean and the lines are well established. I really like the coloring. It makes it look menacing and it makes the book feel like it should. Deadly. Now, the story is where I really like what happened. We get to see the Squad take a few good guys and then we come across a girl. Deadshot and Amanda Waller have ...
