Sub-Zero is a Lin Kuei ninja who belongs to the race of the Cryomancers. The first Sub-Zero was killed by Scorpion and became Noob Saibot. The current Sub-Zero is a more honorable warrior who is empowered by the Dragon Medallion and is currently the leader of the Lin Kuei clan.

I say Sub-Zero becaues he is one of the top martial artists in Mortal Kombat and has Freezing abilities
