Hello. Does anyone happen to know how Stryfe's telepathy compares to Charles Xavier's or Emma Frost's?  Furthermore, does anyone know what type of metal Stryfe's armor suit is made out of? Finally,  how does Stryfe's telekinesis compare to Jean Grey's or Psylocke's?

    It fluctuates on the writer.

Psylocke took him to task (Or at least held her own) in an X-men annual in 2000.

Nate Grey had more interaction with Charles and he was shown to be more telepathically powerful than him, so since Stryfe was able to take down Nate in that awful multi-parter in the late 90's, you can assume Stryfe is more powerful than Prof. X.

Jean Grey didn't pose much of a threat to him in X-Cutioner's Song. But with the Phoniex power I'm positive she'd whup him telekinetically.

Emma hasn't had any interaction with Stryfe, but hopefully in the final part of the Messiah Trilogy she will.

Yost and Kyle touched on this in Messiah war. In Apocalypse's narration, he seemed to think that Stryfe was full of power and potential, but just too weak and arrogant to properly wield it. But Poccy was juiced up on celestial steroids, so who knows if he's really his adopted kid's better. He's never been actually confirmed as omega-level, but it's safe to assume he is. The type of metal that his armor is made of have never been confirmed, but since it usually gets trashed fairly easily, you can assume it's more for aesthetics than unstoppable protection.

Wow, that pretty much covers it.

Everytime Cable's TO Virus rages further out of control, it makes me even more suspicious that Cable will take over Stryfe's body and therefore regain his teke & tepe powers.

I saw you mentioned that in the other thread and now I just assume that's going to happen.  They may pull a switcheroo on the Hope/Jean thing, but I think that's just about set in stone.

Well obviously he doesn't believe so. Anybody who refers to himself as an "instrument of righteous cruelty" doesn't think what he's doing is evil.  Even how he rules the future during MW. A hundred years later the descendents of his soldiers still felt Stryfe was doing something right.

Me? I would classify him as a villain. I think once you release a virus with the intention of wiping out a race and evoke racial prejudice, you deserve to be put in the category of "not a nice guy". I did like that bit at the end of X-Cutioner's Song, though. You could tell there was a part of him that wanted to be a hero, but there was no shaking his upbringing.  I really enjoy Stryfe and was happy with how he was handled in Messiah War. It would be a shame to waste him as a vessel for Cable.

By releasing the legacy virus (Or tricking Sinister into releasing it), the anti-mutant sentiment grew stronger. If I recall it was also purposely meant to mutate and infect a few humans eventually as well to seal the deal.

    @Grendel: Hello.

I see.  So Stryfe hates both humans and mutants?  Also, could you give me an idea about how powerful of a telekinetic Stryfe is?
Can he rip an entire planet apart with telekinesis? Can Stryfe rip people in half with his telekinesis or can he shatter mountains like Psylocke
can? What would be Stryfe's most impressive telekinetic and/or telepathic feat?

Also, did Stryfe intend to be the only living mutant on Earth by releasing the Legacy Virus?

What were Stryfe's goals by forming the  Mutant Liberation Front? Why did Stryfe kill Warpath's tribe?                                  %Pr

Stryfe is self-loathing, so he hates everybody. The Legacy virus was meant to punctuate his death. He knew the moon battle at the end of X-Cutioner's Song would be his last stand, so he insured it would be released after he had perished.  I don't ever think it was ever his plan to be the last man standing.

The Mutant Liberation Front were pawns, he used them to run his own agenda under a contrived Brotherhood of Evil mutants ideology.  He used them to steal artifacts and weapons for use in his revenge on his "family".

A man named  Edwin Martynec was hired by Stryfe to turn the tribe at Camp Verde into a group of mutated soldiers. When it failed, Stryfe ordered them slaughtered to cover it up.

Cable once mentioned that Stryfe could "move mountains" while his telekinetic ability could only levitate a few small tools. He can melt away walls, keep in check mutant abilities (Cyclops and Jean grey at the same time),  and even took over Prof. X's mind once. He tore the very old future version of Deadpool in half.

@Grendel: Ha ha. That is funny.
By the way I also am quite fond of Stryfe in addition to you three guys.  I was wondering if Stryfe was a powerful enough telekinetic to rip or tear people in half, similar, but not quite, in the way that Magneto ripped Apocalypse in half in the AOA storyline. Also, how did Stryfe manage to defeat both Jean Grey and Cyclops at the same time?  Did Jean and Scott have their powers then or were they weak?

Stryfe was able to tear Old Man Wade in half, but I'm not sure if he could do it to Apocalypse. He needed Bishop to take him down at his weakest and even that didn't work.

Stryfe did get Scott and Jean gift-wrapped by Sinister, but he was able to use his powers to keep theirs in check.

@Grendel: I see. So Stryfe had to work with Sinister to defeat both Jean Grey and Cyclops. He was not able to do it by himself.  Would you like to see Stryfe in a live action x-men film? If so go to the "www.xmenfilms.net" website and go to the" x-men 4 petition" page and follow directions to  sign the x-men 4 petition.

I still don't think that Stryfe is as skilled and experienced of a telepath as Xavier is. More powerful? Yes. Correct me if I am wrong though.           %Pr

No, Stryfe needed Sinister to deliver them unless it was just part of his scheme to get the Legacy Virus released. But they did escape his captivity during X-Cutioner's Song and he was able to subdue them.

Stryfe/Cable should be portrayed by Daniel Craig, end of story.

I think you're right about Xavier. Both X-Man and Stryfe gave him trouble, but he has a better control over his powers. Nate never fully got a grasp on his and Stryfe was tutored by Madame Sanctity who was a loon.

Onslaught made holocaust invulnerable to telepathic assault, so Stryfe would have to use his telekinesis. I don't know if Stryfe's telekinesis is enough to defeat holocaust though. Even X-Man had difficulty.

It's my guess that since the AOA versions of characters don't differ in much but personality, that because Nate Grey could kill Sinister as somewhat easily as he did, Stryfe could take him out.

Win or lose, having Stryfe fight his semi-step-brother would be awesome to read and see. I'd love to have Holocaust appear in X-Force.

Exodus I'm not sure of because Paris's powers change from time to time. At one point he was a psychic vampire.

Onslaught: Was the Onslaught thing temporary? Holocaust seemed to hold his own even without it.

Storm + Iceman: I think he could, yes.  He has a tendency to exploit the powers of his enemies and I could see him doing it with those two.

    X-Man: Absolutely.

He got fed up with the over saturation of Deadpool and Wolverine, so he tore Wade in two and went back in time and murdered Logan before he was born.

Stryfe's telepath was not well trained but it was enough to knock out Jean Grey while her mental defenses were up.
His telekinesis is Omega level, and he was able to defeat Nate Grey (said to be as powerful as Dark phoenix) with Ease.

psionically he would just murder psylocke, because of his power to drain psionic energies, and throw them back at you.

not sure what the metal his armor is made of, but it's nothing special, can be broken easily enough.

    Lmfao.... Stryfe is trash.

When he "beat" Nate, he had a pyramid that drained Nates energy.

Jean had no TP when he "beat" her.

2010s Era Psylocke said he was "probably as powerful as her"

He has ZEEEEEERRRRRRROOOOOO tp feats of consequence.

He has one waaaaay out there outlier of controlling Xavier in the same mini where Base Cable casually Mindrapes him......BASE Cable.....that's not even the low showing....he was running from Cable like a little girl...he was begging Gambit and Bishop to protect him when Cable swooped in and Kidnapped him. Then he mindraped him for hours......Stryfe isnt trash, he's what a dumpster would use to put its trash in if it had something to throw away
