Being a ninja is hard work.

Ibuki continues her run in the second issue as she continues to balance her life with being a ninja and school.

    Pros:

I'd would say the story expands more on Ibuki's life with school, a social life and a ninja more than the first issue. Here, we see her giving her all making the best of both worlds and having a little fun on the way.

The lighthearted humor from last issue is still there and continues with Elena joining the cast.

Like in the first issue, the artwork is superb. Omar Dogen has a handle on drawing Ibuki and the other characters along with making the environments well.  My favorite pages have to be the four pages where it spilt both Ibuki's school and social life with her ninja lifestyle.

    Cons:

The story takes a different turn in which, while still focusing on Ibuki's life, the Geki ninjas that were in the last issue are hardly even mentioned in this issue except for one panel. There's not that much action in this issue either. Also, the pacing is just either slow, or go by fast. The fight with Ibuki and Sarai just seem a little awkward especially the time it took for them to make up.

Overall, this issue is somewhat takes a step back, but nevertheless, it's still a good issue.   Again, this is just for the fans of Ibuki or Street Fighter. The ending leaves us with another Street Fighter character making his way in the next issue which should make things interesting.

So, I guess I'm just a sucker for the Street Fighter series. After two issues, I realize I am reading a comic that girls may enjoy better. And by girls, I mean high school or under.  I read all the SF comics, so of course I'll read this. I'll be honest, I enjoy it. It's very light-hearted and I always like Omar Dogan's artwork. The story is about Ibuki, a girl who is a ninja but also tries to balance being a high school student at the same time.   How can Ibuki deal with her masters tasks, high ...

      Fleshing Out Ibuki 0

Ibuki continues her adventures through high school, as well as keeping her life as a ninja secret from her classmates.    The Good As always for Udon, the art here is simply incredible. Keeping the look from Street Fighter IV as well as adding their own manga-inspired asthetics, Udon (Omar Dogan on art this time around) continue to impress me with each comic they release. I don't often buy comics for the art alone but I do when it comes to Udon.  The writing itself is pretty standard. We learn m...
