Fun and Clever
I didn´t like so much the previous numbers of Strange Tales II, but this issue is amazing, and I think it´s because it has more quality in the art department, also the stories are funnier. I will resume some of the best in my opinion:
1) How Mjolnir got its strap by Terry Moore - This is a fun story, with nice dialogues and interesting facts, but the art isn´t the best (it´s a bad influence of Sergio Aragones)
2) Silver Surfer by James Stokoe - That´s an amazing story of Galactus devouring a Skrull world while some soldiers and Silver Surfer are having drinks and playing cards, very funny and sarcastic, with great art and colors
3) U.S. Agent VS. The Terror-Saur by Benjamin Marra - That´s the story that I most laughed of, simply hilarius watching the critic of an stereotype North American against terrorism, a very intelligent and fun, sarcastic, ideological and political story, with great art
4) Machine Man - EMO by Tim Hamilton - Another story well writen and penciled/colored about Machine Man the Ectoplasmatic & Mysterious Occurrences Investigator, hired by Agatha Harkness to stop Moebius from awakening a demon. An interesting, funny and emotional tale
5) Fantastic...Before by Alex Robinson - Ben Grimm and Reed Richards on a date, such an hilarious story, specially because Reed´s date really liked him and he didn´t had a clue. Also very funny Von Doom´s participation
6) With a Little Help from my Friends by Eduardo Medeiros - Spider-Man is having a brawl with Juggernaut and he wants the Thing to come along, so he chrashes into an old lady´s apartment to make a phone call. Again nice writing and art
7) Harvey Pekar meets Thing by Pekar and Ty Templeton - Beautiful art and interesting dialogues in this story (and a nice touch from Marvel in publishing this)
