    Eternity

By The Angry Comic Book Critic
I think it's time we take a look at one of the characters of marvel that doesn't gets the props he rightfully deserves and that Character my friends is Eternity a being that could kick the Hulks ass with just a thought a being of such unimaginable power that even Dr. Strange is afraid of him. Now the comic where he 1st appears is Strange Tales #138 this comic contains two stories one is about Nick Fury trying to stop hydra but we're not going to look at that one because I've never been the biggest fan of Nick Fury's solo stories and two it's not all that interesting to begin with so where just going to take a look at Dr. Strange's tale of his 1st meeting with Eternity and now that that's out of the way lets begin shall we?
Now this story is one part of a multi-part story that involves Dr. Strange seeking help from the being known as Eternity in order to save the Ancient One and in turn all of Humanity from the dread Dormamummu and the Baron Mordo. So Strange enters a magical realm where Eternity resides and in his search comes across a micro-verse which it actually Eternity as it takes on the form of a man now I'm not going to argue the science behind this meeting cause honestly I think my head would explode if I wondered how Dr.Strange met with all Creation considering he would have to be outside creation to meet it so I'm going to stop this right here and get back to the story. Eternity tells Dr. Strange that he knows he's here to seek power and that none may speak while in Eternity's presence....Eternity has a bit of an ego doesn't he? Eternity tells Dr.Strange that he cannot have any power because he already has the power he needs to defeat Dormamummu and Mordo so with that Strange returns to earth and prepares to do battle with the two to save the Ancient One. Now I have to say despite the story's short duration Stan Lee did a bang up job with the Character of Eternity when he's in the story you can just feel that he's in terms of power scale 2nd only to God himself and is unnerving to just be around because of his sheer might. Steve Ditko also did a fantastic Job with the artwork when he created Eternity's proving once again that he's one of the Silver Age's top artists.
