Plot Summary

Dr. Stephen Strange lies broken in a hospital bed, as a doctor is telling his friend that his hands were destroyed. He can still be a doctor, but he will never be able to be a surgeon again. He promises himself he will travel the country or even the world until he meets someone skilled enough to repair his hands. He does travel the world, to no avail until one day he meets an old friend that was on the same trip to Tibet as him. The two talk and the friend tells Stephen that the boy Wong kept asking about him. That Wong was inspired to become a doctor and is one of the best hand specialists in the world. Stephen Strange travels to Tibet in search of Wong, when he arrives, a woman says he was expected, that Wong left a note. On the note is his new address. Only two blocks away from Stephen Stranges address in New York. Before he can meet Wong though, he goes to have a drink. There he meets Clea, who tells him he is in danger. Too late as his demons catch up with him.

    Strange Part 2

An entire issue of him looking for a hand surgeon. Okay gang, not much really happens in this book. The characters are there, but as I said in my review of Strange issue number one, there isn't enough story here for six issues. I know you can write six issues of Dr. Strange, I even believe you could make it incredibly cool and exciting, but this is 1970's television movie slow. What happened in this issue, could have been condensed with the goings on of issue number one, and we could have gotten to the cool stuff at least one issue sooner. This kind of meandering brings my ranking for it down a notch.
