I give up, this book sucks monkey balls.

I tried to like this book but it is just no use anymore. This attempt at bringing back Stormwatch and cramming them into the DC Universe is just a terrible and boring book. It is a shadow of past Stormwatch/The Authority incarnations. Most of the characters are 2 dimensional and the others are goofy caricatures. The story lines are laughably bad. I feel like they are not so much existing in secret from the other DC superheroes but more likely Batman and Superman found these losers and decided if they didnt make eye-contact and pretend they dont see them they wont have to ever deal with this band of pretentious dicks with idiotic powers like "City-Speak" and "Media-Manipulations" and "Really good at lying." The whole thing sounds like something that seemed genius when the writer came up with it while on LSD but then a day later reread it and realized it was just nonsensical bullshit. Why Stormwatch continues to get printed, I do not know.

This was one of the most unexpectedly good issues of the month and is easily the best of the series thus far.  It might betray it a little too much as well to go too much into the actual plot developments as the revelation of them is central to enjoying this issue.  What I can say though is that whereas the series thus far has been working off of a lot of characters which have shown very little personality, here those personalities have come to life - especially J'onn and Jenny - but the others ...
