Is there a gated community for 'out' super heroes i.e. those sans a secret identity? I would have liked to have seen/see her deal with her issues and start her own institution and programs.

More than content with how things are now, i think they need to stay that way, before she suffers a Wolverine.

Great choices on the poll. I'm like...I want A, B, C, D & E lol. But of all the options Storm getting a shot a solo would be the most important and desireable next step for me.

I think outside of having her own series, I would like to see her play a major role in the MU that doesn't necessarily place her on the team with the Avengers. Not sure if that is even possible but I don't want her importance to be contingent on that.

Oh no I would like that... but I want her to be on Spiderman's or FF's status. Both Spiderman and FF are important to Marvel Universe but that aren't necessarily affiliated with the Avengers.

But you do realize not matter how powerful a character is they can still be beaten. So don't get any ideas.

I think STorm being written as an elemental can be done and done in a fashion to not "over-power" her. I mean Iceman is an elemental, human torch, and these characters still function quite well in the teams they are a part of.

I can agree with this but as I'm sure you're well aware Iceman and HT have anything on Storm in terms of raw power. We both know that Storm is limited by her body. You take that away and give it to the wrong writer and you're asking for trouble. We have no idea what a bodyless Storm could do. Hell she could do a Magneto and start pulling power/draw substance from the life in the universe. Again that would be too powerful for a team book.

She already has it. Her pressure domes can burst through a mountain hell they even showed an air shield in WaTX in her fight with Domino. She doesn't need a power boost she just needs writers who do their research and know that she has ways to defend herself. But I think we still have a ways to go on this. I mean she's still being hurt by her OWN lightning so for her to start blocking other attacks is a bit of a stretch......at least for "current" Storm.

I so do not understand how she is hurt by her OWN lightning or any lightning for that matter. Do you have a scan of her fight with Domino in WaTX??? Ultimately I would like to see a solo series but those are so hard to maintain especially for female characters.For now I would like to see her the unquestioned lead/featured character of a ensemble book. No disrespect to Jubilee whom I like but I wish it were Storm featured.

Which is truley a shame. If you get one or two good and knowledgeable meteorologist to sit down with a writer who doing Storm they can find a plethora of ideas to work with. Add that with the fact that Storm is not bound by our science.........she'd be a walking tank and written correctly she'd have the defense to match. They are quick to have her looking like a human spark plug but not once have I seen her go into battle with a pressure dome up. I'm not even going to wait for the EM shield thing..........That's all for Magneto.

Which really isn't that bad-- as long as Storm is the main character.. Adjectiveless X-men is Storm's book, give or take. The modern day X-treme X-men if you will..

If she gets her own solo, she will be written better.
