I'd even give credit to her evading the close range gun fire as an example her good reaction time.

It's crazy how so many feats were crammed into this issue and it was paired with delightful writing.

I'm not 100% sure on how the bullet timing is defined but characters that are normally credited with those type of reflexive speeds are Gambit, Captain America, Daredevil, Mister X, Cassandra Cain, etc. For example Remy actually blocking multiple gun shots with his bow staff at point blank range (and he has also caught a bullet fired at him):

Or Mister X blocking rapid gunfire from Black Widow (I believe I saw a scan of him also dodging her gunfire at close range).

Or Cassandra Cain....

These characters also have the consistency factor for their feats of dodging machine gun style/rapid speed gunfire at close range in addition to the blocking feats (or standing still and dodging like Cassandra).

I still think we need more consistency from Ororo before it could be argued that she has reflexes of that level overall in a Battles debate, but this is a very good reaction time feat to add under Storm's belt. It adds more credence to her power execution speed that some people tend to think is slow because of the animated and movie versions. Her reaction speed has already proven to be excellent with her being able to physically dodge Cyclops' beam (even the sneak attack rapid fire when he was under Candra's control), block it back to back with wind and lightning in WAP, dodging and catching numerous blades (even thrown by peak and enhanced human opponents), no problem keeping up with peak/enhanced humans in CQC, tagging Quicksilver while he ran at superhuman speed with a blizzard blast, dodging Clor's hammer, dodging the sneak attack energy blast from the Phalanx at close range, blocking Gambit's projectiles when he thought he was being sneak attacked, etc. But this particular showing of her blocking bullets after they were fired is a really top notch showing IMO, since he fired them while she was in mid-sentence at close range and she deflected all 4 shots with no difficulty. And when it comes to countering bullets it has a more impressive feel IMO. The dodging of the security guards close range gunfire is also a good reflex feat.

@thunderbolt30: not to mention the fact that she straight up stopped a blast from the danger room. So much for being called "fodder". Smh. I would love for Greg to tap into her feline side...

Like I said before, his name will always show up on solicitations since he is the first artist for Storm's ongoing solo. But when we get the preview, we'll be seeing a different name. I hope you're right and I'm wrong but this has always been happening.

You're right it is not terrible at all. I do prefer her with a full head of hair though, but the mohawk isn't bad.

One thing I have mixed feelings on is the artwork, but the series is good none the less.

This was my favorite style of artwork it had.

I see. It was my least fvaorite issue actually.

I know you want a colorful art and that's what I also want. But they went for a relistic approach so we'll just have to accept it.

Agreed on Baldeon's work being the only thing that was good from Storm #3. The scene with her and Beast in the garden was cool. I have really enjoyed the Storm and Hank friendship. I wasn't expecting to like as much as I do in this book.

Maybe we just need a better artist to draw a mohawk Storm.
