Anole couldn't breathe .. ) .. she's ready to blow bishes! .. how i wish it had narrative bubbles like in her solo and sound effects O_O

@poisonfleur: Overall, I'd still say Wood did well on his xmen run.
-Wood gave us an excellent team roster.
-Wood made a lot of characters more interesting namely Rachel Summers, Shogo, Kymera and M.
-Wood revived a lot of female villains.
But the book was not perfect.
-there wasnt enough action scenes to keep readers excited.
-the female villains didnt do much.
-Wood stated Jubilee will be the main character but he failed to get her more fans.
-Wood kept on questioning Storm's leadership.
-Wood didnt show us what Kymera can really do.
True-- I feel Wood really brought a voice back to Storm again-- Let's face it. She was wallpaper before AVX. It's not Wood's responsibility to show what Kymera can do. Bendis created her and left her in the present. It's his job to establish her for his upcoming stories. These books made me LOVE Rachel, M, and the villains.
I don't blame him for leaving. His character roster is always in flux. His books doesn't have main domain over Rogue, Kitty, or Storm. His creative liberties limited as opposed to ultimate X-men. I still liked his runs

Thank you very much for the heat wave scans, they were epic. I will be adding them and the other scans to the Power discussion thread as soon as I'm done with Jean's thread. I'm fine i guess, i'm a bit down .. this person i had a long time crush on was killed lastnight. But yes i agree Jean needs some love .. since jean is an O-level tk user .. wouldn't that make storm essentially an O-level atmokinetic? because she (jean) manipulates molecules, and storm manipulates molecules, atoms and electrons? by that logic if jean could duplicate storm's powers (like what X-man did albeit he passed out from the strain) wouldn't that mean that in short storm could at least do the same like matter transmutation and toy with things on a molecular/atomic levels?
@malachi_munroe: very sorry to hear that :'/ Storm also manipulates energy as well, chemical energy being one of the many. Through this ability she could potentially augment or disable matter on the sub atomic level. It is also this ability that grants her connection to all living things/life force/energy signatures. Think of how she acknowledge the change in Jean when she became Phoenix.
@roddy010: thank you ^_^ now for her against iceman .. he works by robbing molecules of their energy right? because i think greg tipped the scales in her favor by showing she can manipulate molecules .. and that she doesn't need energy to function .. lets say he froze everything .. whats stopping her from "agitating" the molecules and producing heat? .. whats stopping her from completely rendering him powerless by mentally gripping the molecules or the energy he's taking from them? .. because the only thing stronger than her will is probably a damn adimantium block ..
@malachi_munroe: Unless Bobby freezes every molecule in her body (not sure if he would be able to do this sense her powers work internally as well) in an instant, I don't see what stopping her from overriding his control. We've recently seen that she could instantly raise the temperature high enough to cause a massive forest fire so Bobby will definitely have hell to pay.
@roddy010: i wonder if her molecules react to a decrease in heat or cold .. if he tries to freeze her internally they probably speed up resulting in heat, if she's in a desert or such they slow down dropping her temp along with her hypothalamus ..

As for the trolls in the hulk vs Storm thread, I see that someone posted the infamous scan of Hulk getting lucky by throwing a piece of debris from Storm's tornado at him(which I really wanted to reply to before the lock). This is the only scan they have of Hulk ever doing anything to her, and should be pointed out that it didn't keep her down for long and he was not able to pull off again. It should also be dually noted that she was trying to bring him down in that encounter(considering it was one of her first times fighting him). Being completely aware of his powers now, she'd never make the mistake of forming a debris field that he could use against her or use a direct assault with her power. There is really nothing he can do against her that would be effective enough to bring her down. She could do a number of things to get rid of him, but my best guess is hurling him off the planet.

trolls? straight up racist .. "boring,black,weatherbased,goku-sue" .. i got it locked because trust me .. my temper is the WORST thing someone could hope to be the victim of. he also has no defense against him turning off his brain .. off the planet and into the sun sounds better. but anyway i think it would be plausible and fits into her immunity to temperatures, perhaps against him her genetics could cause the molecules to vibrate faster because he's removing the energy from them .. while in other scenarios her body would just use that part in her brain for that ish ..
@malachi_munroe: They're racist trolls then(which really doesn't surprise me). They had no legs to stand on, and the premise of their argument was flawed, and their conduct was beyond offensive and irrational. I'm glad you got the thread locked and I hope the ones involved that were behaving in that manner were banned indefinitely. Roddy also did a great job providing solid evidence about how much of a threat she would pose to the Hulk.
As for iceman, I don't even think he'd get the time to lower her temperature anyway. Energy based attacks(especially electricity) have proven to be a big problem for him. With her control over moisture and molecular bonds between hydrogen and oxygen(via electrolysis), she should be able to depower him and damage/destroy his ice and/or mist form quite easily. Her direct control over thermal energy should allow for her to wrest control over the temperature from him as well.
