@malachi_munroe: it's a valid point with heat. And after all their encounters we would think that she would have used this tactic by now.
Storm using her powers on the inside of a force field has been HEAVILY debated. When she created that tornado against Magneto the art clearly depicts creating it while Magneto's shield was up, but it was argued that her wind force created such a strain on him that he had to drop his force field in order to anchor himself against the tornado's pull.
We gave also seen Storm be on the inside of invisible woman's force field and could still manipulate the elements outside of the field, so conversely Storm may be able to be on the outside of the field and manipulate the inside. But it's argued that Sue, even though she never worked with Storm before at the time to even know hue gets work, May gave allows Storm to do it.
There is just not much info available to solidly prove it either way.
I believe Magneto's force field had withstood a nuke once before so an h-bomb may not work with his shield up.
What doesn't make sense to me is that we know Storm can manipulate EM energy and controls heat. Why she has not at already attempted these tactics against Magneto doesn't make much sense, outside of the writer making the encounter fit the plot. They want to keep Magneto as a team buster, but technically Storm's powers are sufficient for her to give him a very good fight and potentially win on her own.
