Hello All,

This thread is meant to discuss Storm's powers as it relates to how long it takes for her to generate or summon various weather effects, and in O'roro's world it occurs in less than in your thoughts, as well as mine. Now mainstream thought, no doubt thanks to Fox X-men Movie franchise, incorrectly believe that it takes several seconds or even minutes for her to generate a Storm or a tempest. However, The All-Mother Goddess has been shown on canon to create lightning, tornadoes, and hurricanes all in less than a conscious thought. Additionally, her powers even work on a subconscious level, so she doesn't necessarily need to be fully aware for these effects to occur either. This term "less than a conscious thought" though not measurable, is a demonstration by the writer that her powers do, in fact, generate instantly and even faster than one's thought.

Because Bryan Singer introduced her as a weather manipulator (not a weather witch, or a weather goddess......just a manipulator) who has to have ceilings and windows open....in order to use her powers............
