Well in Battle World I heard there was a portion of 616 Manhattan. Now Storm was in Manhattan along with Iceman,Cap,Iron Fist,Luke,Drax,Rocket Raccoon and Gamora fighting off Ultimate Universe. NOW IF that's true there is a portion of 616 Manhattan on Battle World then Storm and the heroes I mentioned should be alive. Worse cast IF the heroes that I mentioned who where seen fighting off the attack are NOT present in Battle World 616 then they are dead.

It's a bit confusing really but no 616 Storm in Secret Wars #2. :(

But I don't wanna lose hope either.

Storm well be back fast, Storm has to many fans.

Jhazz. I feel your pain. I love Storm with all my heart, but I'm suprised I didn't get as upset as I would've, it's because I just have this feeling that she will be back. No one really dies in the Comic World. It'll be ok soon.

And the cover of Uncanny Xmen no 600 is the one that really scares me because it shows Storm with her original costume but the (first appearance) the other x-men are wearing their current costumes (so they're definitely 616 ) so I'm not sure if it's 616 Storm or not and if we will still see 616 Storm after Secret Wars because 616 Storm is my favorite among alternate versions of Storm.

It looks like this she didn't die at all. I heard 616 Storm appeared in Ultimate End today, along with Emma Frost.

Well you know, this is Secret Wars, I think the death of many heros was to be expected... Also good to remember that nothing is official until after Secret Wars is over. Then we will get to see what new universe comes out of it.

I'm scared you know cos we might not be getting 616 Storm after Secret Wars. Hopefully I'm wrong. The X-men Complex is really scaring me. I don't want 616 Storm gone and I don't want the X-men to be moved to another planet, or worse, Marvel will stop making x-men comics.

I still think she will be back though......but I'm even more worried now because Marvel just revealed their new "All New All Different" Marvel branding for the 8 months later thing after Secret Wars.

There's still some confusion going on. They say those 616 characters in Ultimates End #1 are not the real 616 characters. I know it kinda doesn't make sense but Secret Wars especially the Bendis-written Ultimates End #1 makes the event very confusing.

I hope a Marvel writer can explain what is really happening.

She is the 616 Storm. It doesn't explain how they all survived though, but a handful of the 616 characters (including Storm) are present in the issue.

The life raft was kept a secret by the Illuminati from pretty much everyone. As the two planets (earth 616 and earth 1610) were about to collide they teleported only specific people (all of whom also did not know about the raft) so no one had a chance to learn about it.

I think they took Thor instead of Storm on account of her powers being magic based. Even though Storm is probably the strongest elemental in Marvel, she can't create what doesn't exist, so to speak. But I think her ability to understand nature would have come in handy.
