IMO Storm is prominent in many of the Marvel games because she is one of the few (only?) prominent black/female characters in Marvel, she fits a demographic that's great for business, sad but true

    yeah1

oh don't get me wrong, I think Storm is a solid character, with a unique and underestimated power set, but hope you realize she is only so prominent because of her demographic, not because everyone is in love with her as much as you are

I agree with the points you made, but it's important to also keep in mind that she's featured as a representation of the X-Men. Game developers also seem to love her powers, as she fits a lot of RPG criteria

and I agree with your points. The most likely scenario is that the developers making a Marvel game go like this when choosing Storm -

    - people heard of her? yeah, enough people

    - wow her power set will look good

    - black and a woman?! two birds with one representation stone!

    - sign her on!

LOL Probably....and she has one of the best physical appearances among the female characters.........SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many costumes.lol

I need Storm to start doing stuff with her headmistress title. She has to become more vocal within those particular books. X-Force and X-Men are givings, but seriously, WATX needs to step it up more.

LOL Probably....and she has one of the best physical appearances among the female characters.........SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many costumes.lol

don't forget the guys.. the gays love her too!!!

    even women love her

Chris Claremont definitely saw star potential in both Storm, Rogue, and Psylocke. He saw saga potential with Cyclops and Jean of COURSE. But with the above 3 women? He saw star potential. I think Marvel is finally going back to his vision for the trio

I kinda see what you mean with Storm and Psylocke, but I don't really see Marvel playing up Rogue.

Rogue is gonna get her own book

Oh, didn't know that. Guess Marvel really is putting more effort into pushing the X-Girls

    YEPPERS

They are going HAM with vagina power......bout time

    eek.. llol

    LOL

Hopefully they wouldn't do that because it'd turn the comic into almost every Rogue story ever. -.-

I hate how they had her retreading the same storyline over and over.

Claremont started to give her full control...she could cycle through and.......I don't know what the hell went wrong. lol However, Jubilee is the Wolverine of the "X-Men" title, so it's a nice change of pace

@White Mage: I know she at least has full control right now and they didn't take it away in Uncanny X-Men, so there's still hope.

I'm getting more and more hyped for the new X-Men.

    Nah, the adjective-less X-Men.

I'm happy too, because Wood knows how to give people balanced screen time and dialogue. I'm not sure how he works with fight scenes, but he apparently does his research
