Cyclops was Headmaster & Emma was Headmistress
then, Wolverine was Headmaster & Kitty was Headmistress
But now that Wolverine is gone is Ororo just flat out Headmaster? Psylocke addressed her as so... So has she graduated from headmistress to headmaster?

    Thoughts?

That seems to be the case :-). Latour explained that Ororo would be taking the main reigns from Logan a few weeks back in his CBR interview:

CBR - I've enjoyed the first two issues of your book, especially with your portrayal of Storm as Headmistress. How do you plan to incorporate her new role with the other aspects of her duties/character? Will she shift between this position or will we mostly see her as Headmistress?

Latour - Logan's presence is still very, very crucial to the core of the book, but at the school itself Storm's definitely now the de facto figurehead. That said, in the field they have a different relationship. When they want to she and Logan work very, very well together. Most of Logan's partners stand in his shadow in someway, be it age, experience or power set, etc. But Storm is very much is equal, if not the rock he leans on. That's something we'll see more of in coming issues.

Headmistress has always seemed to have 2nd in command stigma. Judging by this, it's no more headmistress. It's HEADMASTER, ORORO!

Take that in your pipe and smoke it Emma! :D

LMAO. I initially thought that it was equal billing but yeah, it seems that the Headmistress role still reports into the Headmaster. I really want this role to grow into something meaningful for Ororo. It's a chance for her to take the school in a new direction and maybe have influence over the direction of the X-Verse. I want to see her leading her field team, leading the school, and doing something unique and meaningful to the MU as a whole in her solo.

She should be called "The Principal".
