@Jakesully1981: They were merged during one of the crossover events.
Wonder Woman is bigger to the DC universe though compared to Storm in the Marvel Universe.
@Jakesully1981: its funny u say this, i have always thought they were similar, Storm is my #1 favorite Marvel Woman while WOnder Woman is my #1 DC Woman, i always thought they were both strong willed and principled, they held onto their beliefs and ideals, they've both had brushes with evil (being possessed & what not) but still overcame it, they both descend from royalty
I think they are both the most featured woman on each respective brand.
Probably the most popular & recognizable on each side too.

i concur
During the 90's Wolverine, Storm and Cyclops formed an X-trinity and being Marvel's best selling title they rivaled even DC's trinity at their highest.

I always remember the three being the X-Men to first encounter Magneto in the cartoon establishing early on that they were the most experienced and dangerous on the team. Perhaps this is simply the way someone who grew up starting with the cartoon would see it, but for a time a decade; I would consider Storm Marvel's Wonder Woman, Wolverine Marvel's Batman and to an extent Cyclops as Marvel's Superman.
Now I would maybe let Wolverine keep his spot; Storm and Cyclops are still both fan favorites, easily recognizable and major names in Marvel but the X-Men as a whole are behind the Avengers and JLA both so only Wolverine gets a really fair shake in Marvel's events unless they are X-Men centric in which case he is still the star.
@Blood1991: Nicely explained.
@Blood1991: Yea Blood I had the exact same thoughts!
No.
Wonder Woman has been written well and poorly. At times she seems to be wise and in others her cultures hatred and fear of men seem to revert her. It drives me nuts.
Storm has had better writers, she has lead the X-Men and has shown temperance when considered a goddess.

Agree. DC simply can't get writters to write WW in a consistent way. Look to her own book and the justice league book in new 52, sometimes look's like 2 different characters...O__o"
Honestly I have thought of her like Wonder Woman. Gail Simone should be the writer of WW btw.
