Storm
Character » Storm appears in 10183 issues.
Born to an American photo journalist and Kenyan princess, Ororo Munroe is one of the most recognizabe superheroines in the Marvel Universe. Using her unique ability to see and manipulate natural energy patterns of the universe to summon any type of weather phenomenon she desires in the blink of an eye, she is called Storm.
Did you enjoy Storm's second solo issue
There's a thread already talking about her comic book and the issues.
2 issues in and this book has absolutely no direction yet....it's just Storm doing random things
I think Pak is just trying to let new readers know what Storm is all about. I'm thinking things will move faster in the coming issues. You have to remember other than Wolverine new readers don't really know Storm outside of the movies so I think he's just trying to find a balance.

I can see that as a definite possibility but he could have done that while still introducing some overlying plot points in the process...as of right now there isn't anything to tie these past two issues together

I agree. But like I said. Hopefully in the coming issues we'll get a solid plot starting.
I liked #1 more but thought #2 was good. There were couple of minor things that long time X-readers would notice, and Callisto could have used more shine, but an enjoyable issue nonetheless.
i liked it nice down time, but sadly i agree it needs to have a direction though time to get some new rogues out for storm.
@malachi_munroe: For starters, your thread is not the be-all end-all for Storm discussions. This thread is a poll that does something a little different than yours.
Also, your thread has full page scans. That is a HUGE no-no. Please take them down and consider yourself warned.
ohh I haven't seen a moderator in ages! Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy boo <3

@son_of_storm: Derailment!
Hey, buddy.

Hey, buddy.
My babe and favorite God!
How's mod life treating ya?
Wait...full page scans are against the rules??
I think its just of "new" comics that show like half the book. Otherwise everyone who's ever had a debate in the battle forums would of been warned/banned. But any mod feel free to post a link or copy/paste the scan rule.
@son_of_storm: Hey, Boo. How are you?
And Mod life has its perks. Banning people. Altering messages if I choose. It's all fun and games.

It's legal. You don't own the right to post full pages of someone else's property. Comic Vine staff are licensed to do it. Battles forums can do it because they are using the content "fairly." Simply posting full pages of comics because you want your friends to see it is not legal so we counsel people to NOT DO IT. We've had issues in the past.
This is legit the first time I've heard of this.
Here's my take:
Storm #1 was better than Storm #2.
I can see that the artist is already familiar with how to draw Storm though unlike in Storm #1 in which I felt Ibañez was still struggling how to constantly keep Storm looking beautiful.
I also love the RoLo moments, moments which RoLo and non-RoLo fans would appreciate as their is really a chemistry between them and the conversation was done well.
I actually laugh one part when a guy said something about cosplay when she saw Storm on her current costume (without the cape). :)
I also like the casual clothes given Storm.
I think the meeting of Storm and Callisto wasn't beautifully done. Would have preferred Storm not attacking right away since she knows Callisto already. They could have talked.
There were no awesome images that I wish was given a full two-page (unlike in Storm #1) but like I said, I'm glad Ibanez knows how to draw Storm well know.
I was left hanging when I got to the last page because I wanted to see more between Storm and Wolverine.
I give a 8/10 for this issue.
Wow...I had no clue about the full page scan rule or the law behind it.
Glorious isn't it, the only time i heard about that is that they aren't allowed in character galleries.
@son_of_storm: completely agree. I think that's exactly what he's trying to do. This book is being bought by people who weren't even aware of Storm apart from the movies so in a way its crucial for him to do this. She's never had her own ongoing before.
@thunderbolt30: I really want Ibanez to draw us an awesome 2-full page image. That was what I like in x-men worlds apart.
@transformers1024: awww, well aren't you just the sweetest little thing. That post will only incur the wrath of he who should not be named

do not feed the Trolls.... mala... can't you see the sign?
@devilsgrin81: fine fine.. I just find it amazing how people don't like a character could find time to type in the name of said character to say something negative... Obviously they cared about her enough to remember her name....
@whoa: amen! Hopefully Greg does pick up with #3

You asked if people enjoyed the issue, and they said they didn't. Asking a question with "yes" or "no" options will inevitably sometimes be negative.
@v_scarlotte_rose: actually, I didn't.. Whoever the OP is did..
@malachi_munroe: Apologies. I don't know if I thought this was your thread, or if I mistakenly used the word "you", but either way, that was incorrect.
But even so, the question was asked, and someone responded. Is that so surprising?

Haha its fine
I'm not surprised people are responding but why would someone post something they know would more than likely trigger a flame war? .. i honestly just can't wrap my head around it :/

It's normal
I thought the first issue was great. I liked Pak's use of her powers, her agreeing with Creep and letting her go home, and I'm looking for more of the POV of the people around her to see how she is making them feel about actions.
I like everything in Storm #1 except for a few not so good-looking Storm faces. For Storm #2, I'm not a fan of the regular cover and wasn't really excited about the fight between Storm and Callisto. However, I was really thrilled with the RoLo moments. :)
It was alright-- Not as good as that epic first issue though.
Agreed. Callisto was such a flat line in this issue.

I just didn't think they need to fight in the first place.
@jhazzroucher: True but Callisto is still no pushover. I was hoping for something that really got to show off what these ladies can do in combat. I know Storm could beat her with her powers but Callisto has the training and combat know how to fight Storm in close quarters. Or set a trap. Not that point of the issue but was just hoping for something more entertaining.

They were already in good terms so why do they have to fight?
