i always enjoyed Bloodstorm. She was a brilliant character in her own right. And combined Vampires (which i love) with Storm (whom i revere above all fictional characters).

I enjoyed that she had the archetypal vampire powers as well as her own. It was a shame that Mutant X didn't last longer, we might have had a legitimate and decent exploration of her powers, and how they worked now that she was technically dead - her connection to the earth mother for example... which Ororo often mentions feeling.

Her physical powers were NEVER properly displayed. Except in brief against Kitty... I would have enjoyed a proper phased vs mist form duel. Bloodstorm would have won of course, Kitty is a mary-sue, but Ororo is a goddess.

True. I actually like Havok in Mutant X.

yeah that's what wasn't ever really made clear. altho keep in mind dracula's connection to his homeland and its possible Bloodstorm was still connected to the Earth in a way. I do remember it being stated on panel that her powers - as phenomenal and significantly stronger than any of the other Six (except full Goblin Queen Maddie) - were more limited than when she was alive.

He's still alive. Vampires are alive. Their hearts still beat. You don't die when you get bitten by a vampire. Your just like unconscious while your body is slowly changing and then boom! you're a vampire.

So excited to see her again! :)

Would bloodstorm just have storm's feats but with extra vampire abilities? I haven't read any of the comics.
