    Origin

The Sticker was a man named Foxworth that created a suit that could control a magnetic glue mixture. The magnetic glue mixture was created by a Dr. Haven and Foxworth wanted the legal rights to his important discovery. Foxworth broke into Dr. Haven's office looking for the legal papers. A former employee of Dr. Haven named Garson was helping Foxworth look for the papers when Dr. Haven arrived to his office. Foxworth ended up killing Dr. Haven with his magno fluid when he refused to give up the papers. The papers were at the Hammond Labs where it was being tested. An employee of Hammond Labs called Dr. Haven's office and told Garson that the papers were on their way. Hammond Labs send Robbie Baldwin who was working as an assistant at the time to Dr. Haven's office to return the papers.

Garson met Baldwin and told him that Dr. Haven was at the basement inspecting a shipment of chemicals. Garson grabbed the papers and threw Baldwin down the stairs. The fall triggered the speedball effect and the Masked Marvel escaped. Speedball discovered Dr. Haven's body and confronted the Sticker. Foxworth wanted to test his magno-armor against Speedball and suddenly the magno-fluid was oozing out of his suit until Foxworth was completely covered. A brief scuffle ensued and the Sticker managed to grab Speedball with his super adhesive suit. Foxworth wanted to know more about Speedball's powers. Speedball managed to rip the Sticker's helmet off and Foxworth was unable to control the magno-flow fluid. The fluid covered Foxworth's face and head and he apparently suffocated to death.

Sticker was created by Roger Stern and Steve Ditko in 1988 and first appeared in Speedball # 2.

    Story Arcs

A resident of Springdale named Clyde broke free a number of Speedball's former foes from jail including Sticker, Bug-Eyed Voice, Ghost of Springdale High, Bonehead, Leaper Logan, the Basher, Two-Legged Rat and the Harlequin Hit Man to form the Speedball Revenge Squad. Clyde wanted the squad to capture Niels and Speedball for one of his greatest experiments. Harlequin shot Niels the cat but it was protected from the kinetic field surrounding the feline. However the cat was propelled forward and its body hit the Sticker and the feline was unable to escape. Speedball would come into conflict with the Revenge Squad at the Hammonds Research Center but he was taken out by Clyde's gas gun. Clyde was planning to drain the kinetic energy from Speedball and Niels but they were able to escape from their shackles when the cat coughed up a hairball that took down the entire Revenge Squad. Clyde, Sticker and the rest of the Revenge Squad was defeated and placed into police custody.

    Equipment & Abilities

Foxworth created a suit that controlled his magno-fluid. The fluid would cover the entire suit making him a walking glob of magno-fluid. Anything the Sticker would touch would cling to his body. However the helmet controlled the magno-fluid so if it was removed then Foxworth would lose control of the fluid.
