After Steve's enormous success on Old Man Logan, and before that Civil War, working with inker, Dexter Vines, he (for some reason) finds himself inker-less on Nemesis.
The result IMO is really shoddy.
I don't know if this was done to save money on this creator-owned project, but the result really sucks.

I don't like the artwork on Nemesis. :(
Oh yeah, compared to his work from Civil War and Old Man Logan...that art sucks, maybe it wil be changed?
The time for an inker to tighten up pencils is before the artwork is published.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
<<You know what else is a byproduct of not having an inker?

The writing might be all right, but I will never find out. Between the annoying artwork and the over-done theme, I have no interest in this title.
I think it is a combo of the Inker/Colorist that really help his art. Not sure what they are doing here but it just doesn't fit as well. Sounds like the book isn't really written to his strengths because another artist could nail it with the dark themes.
