Which book should Stephanie re-appear in?

If DC were to reintroduce Stephanie, which book should she appear in? Which character should she be, or want to be?

Crisis on the New 52! ^^

'Cause its not as though they're used a crisis just to get around an awkward issue before, or anything ;)

Birds of Prey or TT

Birds of Prey would be smart, also Batgirl, or a potential Outsiders Book.

Birds of Prey or Batman INC.

I can definitely seeing Batman INC being used to reintroduce characters like Stephanie and Cassandra Cain.

Batman Inc

I think they should just make a solo series for her called "Spoiler"

Kill off Damian and put her in Batman & Robin.

A new book called Spoilers starring vigilante partners Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain.

Either Teen Titans or a Spoiler ongoing.

The best place for her would be in one of the team books, at least to start, to introduce her as Spoiler:

  • Birds of Prey - This would allow them to develop a Babs/Steph relationship similar to the one they had previously. She could take the "Misfit" slot on the team, which it's currently lacking.
  • Red Hood & the Outlaws - As the daughter of a super criminal trying to get out from under his shadow, this wouldn't be a terrible place to introduce Steph.
  • Batman Inc. - Obviously she'd work here, although I'd worry she'd get lost in the crowd.
  • Teen Titans - I think it'd be important to introduce her with a connection to Tim, but this book needs a pretty drastic shakeup at this point altogether. I'm not sure how Steph would or could fit into that.

Alternatively, they could make Steph a friend of Harper Row in Batman.

I think introducing Steph could be the shakeup Teen Titans needs. Assuming she isn't completely botched like some other characters her sense of humor and can-do attitude would do wonders for the team dynamics, and it would help make Nu52 Tim Drake feel more like his old self.

What about the Ravagers? They could team up to deal with cluemaster or something?

retcon Damian out of existence so he never existed and put her in Batman & Robin.

Fixed that for you.

Yay!

I'm not a fan of Damian. He should of been erased from existence in the New 52.

You speak the truth. I'm not a fan of him either...

Teen Titans? :/

#21 Posted by wessaari (632 posts) - - Show Bio

eh that is a hard one. If they are going to bring her back, it will be very difficult. I would say either Batgirl or Birds of Prey, and give her a role similiar to Oracle but more of a Trainee. She gives Batgirl back up on Comms, and in exchange Babs trains her to become her own vigilante.

why teen titans?

i think they're over populated!

if only the red robin series were still going on,that would be the best place your her to reappearing, otherwise birds of prey or super girl i guess.

and she had a family relationship with Damien ,so how about bat man

I actually made a thread about a theory I have with this

This Babs is years away from having half the skills necessary to have even the thought of training another vigilante.

Any of them! Please! XI

#26 Posted by wessaari (632 posts) - - Show Bio

@sunofdarkchild: Well how about her being trained by both Babs and Canary. She has had plenty of experience and could be a step for Babs to be more of a mentor

#27 Posted by sunofdarkchild (13 posts) - - Show Bio

With Black Canary I could see it. But anyone who could be taught anything by this version of Babs has no business being a vigilante in the first place. It would be like being taught by the Stephanie Brown of 1997.
