Steel Raven

Origin

Aranda Charboneau was a wealthy socialite, who would also establish herself as a top reliable and skilled mercenary, working under the name Steel Raven. She would spend much time caring for her son, who appeared to have suffered psychological abuse and trauma. Her proficiency as a mercenary would earn her a contract with a advanced top secret research facility known as the Fortress. One of her assignments under the direction of Fortress executive Zachary Hoffner would be to locate and retrieve a young mutant with empathy and metamorphing powers. This young mutant Jesse with his powers also mimicked appearances and emotions of those he was in proximity of. Jesse however was also a priority for Charles Xavier of the X-Men who had sent Wolverine to help the young child control his mutant powers. Steel Raven would be the successful party, bringing him to the Fortress. Wolverine accompanied by Typhoid Mary sought to retrieve Jesse, however their would be a confrontation between agents of Fortress, Steel Raven, Typhoid Mary, Vengeance and Daredevil. Steel Raven herself would beat Daredevil, but Typhoid Mary would escape with Jesse.  
 
In her following mission to once again retrieve Jesse, and track Typhoid Mary, Steel Raven would find Typhoid but she was without Jesse. As it had turned out, Typhoid Mary had realized Jesse was in fact a boy and not a female, like she had mistakenly believed ignorant of Jesse's ability to metamorph to appear as those in his proximity. Typhoid Mary was also going through her Bloody Mary phase of personality. Steel Raven realizing that Mary was going on a mission of vengeance against women beaters. Sympathetic to her cause Steel Raven would help Mary as she could, and also not particularly fond of what the Fortress had planned for Jesse, Raven essentially ignored her mission as far as recapturing Jesse. Steel Raven at one time also aiding in training New Genix.             

Creation

Steel Raven is a Marvel comic book character who first appeared in Marvel Comics Presents #150 released in 1994. Created by Ann Nocenti, and Steve Lightle. The character had a small appearance in Civil War Battle Damage considered as a potential Initiative recruit by Tony Stark.  
 

Powers and Abilities

Steel Raven is highly conditioned and physically fit and possessed high levels of stamina, fitness, and fighting skills, both of an armed and unarmed nature. A proficient sharpshooter, Steel Raven has access to an arsenal of high tech weapons and often carries a selection of blades, knives, bola, pistols, machine guns, rifles, shurikens, throwing blades, and explosives on her. She also is known to use an energy bola which can shock opponents inbto a neutralized state. Steel Raven is considerably wealthy.
