With his Steel Angel companion, Kurumi, along with Karinka and Saki, they discover a future world largely governed by an order of Steel Angels(and their masters) that protect humanity from natural disasters and duel one another to settle international disputes. World peace has been achieved and science has progressed significantly. When a future mystic-Amato kanui-challenges Nakahito to a duel, Kurumi must fight Amato's Steel Angel, Excelia, who has the advantages of 100 years of future technological firepower!
