In Static #8 Shadow War, when Static is fighting the botanist one of the panels shows him with energy coming from his eyes as both his hands are clearly shown holding the vines he's tangled in. In the very next panel his disc is shown as having just flown past him having sliced through the vines. I would like to know if anyone noticed this and if they agree he was using his powers to control his disc with his eyes. I know he can do optic blasts from looking at the respect thread, but I don't recall seeing this scan. I think that would be a cool and useful ability if he could do it.

@statfan201: Sounds like he was just remotely flying his disk over. His eyes glow sometimes when using his powers, I doubt his eyes themselves were doing anything.
