Anyone like the TV show?
From ages 10 to 14 while it was on it was my favorite show. I loved it being that he was the first african american hero i had heard of. And if it wasnt for this show I would have not gotten into comics. I really enjoyed the writing on the show, it was a kids show but it had better dialouge than Smallville.
That show was epic! I was addicted to it when I was a little kid! It's actually one of the things that got me into comics! They need to make a new show!

Yeah I loved that show. The only downside was the cheesiness, what with all the Lil Romeo stuff. Just because he's a black superhero he's gotta like Lil' Romeo? I guess I can understand though, seeing as how that's what was popular at the time.
I agree, while he is a great character I also felt the show was a little too cheesy.
It was good they had coming age for a few villains. Rubberband man, Hot Streak, and Alva. Those were great episodes. Specs and Trapper would have been great villains for other super heroes. Trapper equipment that was able to stop, decrease, and increase motion. He has control over momentum! That is a powerful ability to have against anyone! Specs was just had lesser shooting helmet which is mediocre compared to his teammate that can control motion. Somebody tell me why they did not get much attention.
There are some character that need work Madelyn Spawlding had the same power as Jean Gray without the Phoenix force. What put me off that character is that they say she is a goody goody but she was not. They try make unlikable by her going with the side that no person would choose. She acts like a character from Jem cartoon but she suppose to be a goody goody. She got better in the second episode despite having a terrible outfit. I am surprise nobody made a joke about that.
There were a few terrible episodes the basketball team with power suits was a stupid idea. the Globe Trotters Super Heroes makes more sense.
I liked it although I did feel at times that the stories were to affirmative action and politically correct. Not at all a realistic depiction of the area that Static lives in.I also couldn't stand all corny pop culture references.
