S.T.A.R.S (Special tactics and rescue squad)is a special forces unit of the RPD (Raccoon police department). It is a small but elite unite. The majority perishes in the "Mansion Incident" the only survivng members are Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton.
