    Character » Starfire appears in 2169 issues.

    Formerly warrior Princess Koriand'r of the now-destroyed planet Tamaran, Starfire found a new home on Earth and a new family in the Teen Titans. She was once romantically involved with Dick Grayson, and often dealt with hostilities from her older sister Blackfire. Starfire has also served with many other teams such as the Outsiders, Justice League, R.E.B.E.L.S. and Jason Todd's Outlaws.

    Why does Babs hate Starfire so much?

    Wait Babs hate Starfire because she's Brazilian?
     
    No I kid, I thought that scene when Barbara shows up at Dick's house and Starfire is there wearing his shirt pretty bad.
     
    But I'm still indifferent to the character.

    Because Starfire is a bad role model for females and is one dimensional... Starfire would be better if she was like her kids cartoon character. 
    Also, she is not that hot or sexy as they make her out to be in the comics in my opinion. I'm all for some skin, but showing to much makes it less interesting to me; takes away some of the imagination and mystery when everything is revealed.

    Hey, at least animated Starfire is entertaining. 
     
    The only cool thing I can remember comic book Starfire doing is fight Wonder Woman for a bit.

    anywhoo, do we really need a thread devoted to this? babs has a right to have an opinion as do the rest of us. having an entire thread singling her out for it seems pretty disrespectful.

    It really didn't too much. They talk about it starting at 52:37. Babs mentions an issue where Barbara Gordon opens Dick's door and Starfire is wearing his T-shirt, then it devolves into "oh I hate her so much," and "You know she's Brazilian, from the planet Brazil," and "no shut up," and I don't think there was any other explanation. 
     
    I'm assuming--assuming--that Babs is simply a big Nightwing-Oracle shipper and therefore Starfire must die. Typical ship-to-ship combat. So, just as @Avenging-X-Bolt: said, nothing to see here.

    Because Babs hates everything in general that most people like. For Starfire in general, she has no real depth to her and comes off as just an sex object
