I've been thinking for a while now that Starfire might make a seriously cool Green Lantern Corps officer, I realize she's with R.E.B.E.L.S. for now but since Brainiac 2 is apparently a scheming creep she's likely to leave their team eventually.  And unless the Teen Titans need a new leader/mentor or Dick Grayson realizes it was a mistake to breakup with her, she probably won't be returning to earth anytime soon, so she might as well do some good by policing her home sector as a Green Lantern and fight the good fight.  What say the rest of you?  Would you like to see Starfire as a Green Lantern one of these days or no?

Nah....she shows too much emotion to be in the GLC. Maybe Blue, Sapphire, or Indigo, but not Green.

I completely agree.  
She is already strong enough as is and she can't control her own emotions. I know she is from an all passion culture but if you can't control yourself then you are doomed to destroy yourself. She is the epitome of a loose cannon and you want to give someone like her the most powerful weapon in the universe. That is like giving Al queda the entire US military nuclear arsenal. Talk to me again when she acquires some self control and mental fortitude.        

Yes I would like to see that please make it happen someone. She already has the green eyes and green energy so lets complete it with a GL costume. 

How could starfire learn to control her Emotions?

How about sister she lost her powers when she was child. She has a lot of rage in her childhood it would make her fitting for the red lantern. She wants take over a planet that hates her how about she becomes guardian of a planets that love her.  This could change her attitude if she becomes a lantern.  She still misses her powers but she learns to manage of what she has.       

Nah. Make her little-known brother Darkfire a Green Lantern. THAT would be cool.

starfire is such a sapphire XD she already has the trampy costume just make it pink, if she became one she wouldn't really change aside from the added power so mine as well leave her alone

yes it would take some time to learn emotion control but she has connections to azarath and could learn but even if she would want to be a lantern the current lantern of her solar system would have to either die or relinquish his/her ring. and then the guardians of oa would have to select her.

@Sinestro2828: If she was with Dick Grayson still I can see her as a Star Sapphire and Grayson as a Green Lantern.

No. Starfire is about letting emotions out, not controlling them.

Star Sapphire Corps, maybe.

She's a Star Sapphire if I've ever seen one, but I don't think she has the chops to make a very good GL.
