Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire # 6
is a comic book published by Dark Horse & released on 10 / / 1996Plot Summary
Luke, Lando, Chewbacca, and Dash infiltrate Xizors palace to rescue Leia from the Black Sun, in a blaster stand off, Lando dumps a bag of thermal detonators down a ventilation shaft, causing Xizor to have to evacuate his base and allowing the Rebels time to escape in the Millenium Falcon, which is being piloted by C-3PO, poorly. Xizor retreats to his orbital space station, the Sky Hook, and requests help from the Empire, but Jix has found substantial evidance about Xizor's plan to conquer the Empire, and he now finds himself a target of both the Rebellion and Empire. During the battle, Xizor is killed, and at the time it seems Dash Rendar is as well during the Skyhook's explosion. On Tatooine Bossk and his mercenaries plan to steal Han Solo from Boba Fett, as do Jabba's Swoop gang who have been offered a reward from Jabba if they capture Solo from Boba (a substantially lower reward then the one Boba and Bossk are after) During a brutal Swoop bike chase, Spiker is fatally injured, and Jix plants evidance implicating him as the spy on his body, Bossk and his mercenaries catch up to Fett's swoop bike only to discover it is actually Zuckuss chained to a swoop on autopilot and 4-LOM's blasted apart body covered in a tarp rather then Han in carbonite. Boba meanwhile has slipped by and not only claims Jabba's reward, but increases it, stating Han is now a piece of artwork created by the dark lord of the sith himself.

I'm a huge star wars fan and found alot of great comics based on my favorite movie franchise but none as cool as Shadows.
This should of been a movie,it fit well in the star wars mythos and added to the story of The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi perfectlly.
Dash fits in well with the Han Solo/Lando crowd. He is actually quite cool like Kyle Katan and should be exploited more often in the star wars franchise.
2 very big thumbs up.
