Endgame, is what Dark Horse callse those issues that link the end of their highly successful "Republic" ongoing series and their new (and decent) "Dark Times" ongoing series. This particular one-shot is put right in the middle of the Endgame story and features Darth Vader essentially killing off a bunch of jedi. There isn't much depth, there isn't much of a complicated story, but it is one of my favorite comics and it totally rocks.
Starting off with art. The art is fantastic in this issue, truly amazing! Some of the greatest artwork that matches the quality of hot-shots like Epting. I really love the art, and one particular (very emotional) frame where laser bolts were practically raining down on one of the last surviving jedi, just made me so excited and was just astonishing to take in all-together.
Which brings me to my next point... emotion. That's done well but not by words... by the artwork. Some of the drawings of jedi being killed and getting attacked is just so emotional. I don't know the artist's name but all credit goes to him. I love whoever the artist was. He managed to make the fight scenes look exciting and put such an emotional approch into all of his drawings.
Which brings me to my next point... action. That's also a high-point of this issue. The fight scenes are well planned out and they are really fun to read. I liked the fights a lot in this and would reccomend this issue to anybody who likes Dark Times, Republic or Clone Wars. Infact, any Oustrander fan would like this stuff.
Uh... so in the end, l give it a 8.5/10
That's a pretty good rating.
