"Walkin' in the sky..."
Synopsis: War comes to a close. Who will win, and what will be the fate of the galaxy?
What's Good?
The final battle is finally here. The rematch between Cade Skywalker and the reborn Darth Krayt gets on its way, but not only this is about Skywalker and Krayt, but it's also about Emperor Roan Fel as he struggles with the Dark side. It's interesting how much these three characters have evolved ever since this series started with Legacy. Even some of the supporting characters have their moments in this issue as well. In the end, the Star Wars universe will change yet again.
Jan Duursema and the rest of the art team brings their A-game with the art for the finale. As always, it's detailed with plenty of action but I will admit that there are some slight errors like Cade's cheek wound reappears and disappears at times.
What's Bad?
There's some parts that could have been better. When you have so many subplots to worry about, it kind of ruins the main story overall. Since this was the last issue, I was hoping it would have more pages so it wouldn't come off having that rush feeling to it coming off from the previous issue.
Overall: After reading this issue, I can't believe it's over. It really left me wanting more. Star Wars: Legacy was such a huge risk when it first came out setting the story over 100 years after the movies. I'm hoping this will not be the last we hear of Legacy as there's still so much to explore. While John Ostrander and Jan Duurseama are moving onto a new project, it does seem slim that Legacy will come back soon, but I still got my fingers crossed.
