    Shocking... only, not.

Although I am happy with the progression of the plot in this series - there seems to be a preponderance of repetition of themes. Honestly, I'm tired of Cade using his darkside/lightside shocking/healing powers to solve every problem. Furthermore, I'm also growing tired of all of these people who should have been long-since dead, randomly showing up out of no where. First Krayt is A'Sharad Hett (which I think makes about as much sense as choosing a completely unknown and untested governor from some backwater state like... oh i don't know, Alaska... as a choice for vice president) and now last issue an ancient Sith Lord was temporarily ressurrected, which smoothly transitioned into the current issue where a Sith Lord has been keeping a Jedi in stasis since the Old Republic. I don't understand why the writers are seemingly so afraid to simply break new water in the Star Wars uinverse, rather than continuing to create excuses to bring in old characters. Even Artoo's existence befuddled me to some extent, as in the Legacy books there was an issue regarding Artoo's hardware - so now it makes absolutely no sense that he should still be around.
In short - I hope that the Legacy era in general will find some confidence to write new stories, rather than just rehashing what has already been written about ad nausium.
