    "I hate talking."

Cade pays his former boss a visit, and later on decides to goes on a vacation.

    Pros:
After the escape from Darth Krayt a few issues back, Cade seems more confident and focused than ever. No, he is not thinking about joining the Jedi, but he is thinking about making himself a ghost to hide from the galaxy. Before Cade does however, he decides to "negotiate" with his former boss Rav after Rav sold out his friends to the Sith and get back the ship he owed Chak and Kee. It's sad to see Chak and Kee go, because I was just getting used to them being regular characters. Cade also fix things up with his crewmates more particularly with Deliah Blue, who feels a bit betrayed after the fling with him and Darth Talon. Not sure how he was able to convince her though.

Meanwhile, Emperor Fel is being his usual cranky self, while Antares and Princess Sia, who is now an Imperial Knight, have some time together.

New characters make their way into this issue. It appears that Bantha and his family is an ally of Cade, but this Azlyn Rae who's been following Cade since the beginning of the issue seems dangerous. Is she another Sith assassin?

The original art team comes back after being away for a while. Jan Duursema give us great action pages and it's even better with Brad Anderson's colors.

    Cons:
I never thought this would be a problem, but I'm getting a bit tired of new characters coming out of nowhere and out rooting the old characters. Don't get me wrong, Jariah Syn and Deliah Blue got some time in this issue, but I feel that this Bantha Hawk and his family will fade away later as this series goes on.

Overall: Great start for Loyalties. It's hard to say where the direction with this arc will take, but I like it so far.
