What role does Obi-wan plays?
Darth Krayt's past is slowly revealed.
Pros:
For those who guess correctly on the identity of Darth Krayt, give yourselves a pat on the back. When thinking about it, it makes sense because of these facts:
-Krayt is a term for Krayt dragons, and they are found on Tatooine.
-A'Sharad Hett is the only Jedi besides his father and Anakin Skywalker (and that I know of((There's no way it could be Anakin because he's dead)) from Tatooine (That is how far I got with my thoughts on who Darth Krayt could be).
-He's the only known Jedi from Tatooine to wield two lightsabers in combat.
-This story arc is called "Claws of the Dragon".
I'm getting off track a bit. John Ostrander does a great job expanding Hett's role during and after Order 66. It would make sense for Hett to go back to Tatooine to become a Tusken raider again. It also makes sense that Obi Wan would be there. He's watching over Anakin Skywalker's son. It's a great expansion to his character considering that had to do something while on Tatooine. And even though Obi-Wan stop Hett from killing one of Anakin's heirs, I doubt Obi-wan realize what his actions made have cause.
Meanwhile in the present, it seems that Cade's friends aren't giving up on him, and now Morrgian Corrde is now in the picture to help them rescue her son. She even tells them that she is Cade's Mommy! Cade also seem to be enjoying himself at the Sith temple though. He even shares a bit more about what he can also do with his unusual Force powers.
Jan Duursema again shows off her skills that are enhanced by the colors of Brad Anderson. I like the older look of Obi-Wan.
Cons:
This is only the second time I've seen an awkward fight panel in this series, and it comes from Obi Wan and Hett. In one panel, I see Hett's arm either blown off by Kenobi's Force push, or sliced off, but that's impossible considering that he was blocking a strike from Hett. What?
Minor complaint, but WHY are Wolf, Shado and K'Kruhk even in this arc? They haven't really done anything. They seem like they're in trouble now that an imperial cruiser is hovering around Ossus.
Overall: Interesting outcome of events. I'm sure that they're more to Krayt's story in the next issue. But, what's with Cade saying he wants to join the Sith?!
