    My First Star Wars Comic

Hahaha! This is one of my favorite Star Wars: Empire issues! The story takes place in between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Luke and his squadron are on a strangeand supposedly uninhabited jungle planet. Suddenly they're attacked by Tie Fighters! Amidst all the commotion you see this lone figure lurking in the shadows and finally reveals themself! But who is it?

I really like comics that tie major story ideas together. This book brings the first three films together with the original three films. Ron Martz tells a wonderfully exciting story here that brings fans of the old and new trilogies together. Adriana Melo and Nicola Scott do an excellent job with the art (though I'm much more partial to Melo). Colors by Michael Atiyeh are spectacular not to mention the brilliant cover by Tommy Lee Edwards and Brad Anderson. Over all I give it a 5 of 5!
