These stories don't exist.....or do they?

I love Star Trek.  However I'm not the biggest fan of the original crew.  I only ever watched the show and the films because of my father being a fan.  Now not being the biggest fan does not mean I hated it.  I liked many of the characters like Spock and McCoy and this comic takes place after one of the best Star Trek films ever (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan).

All of these enter into my review of a nearly thirty year old comic.  Star Trek has grown so much and  has become beyond great.  I even loved new film that recast the original crew.  Now I am reading a comic with things I know never happened because of Star Trek Canon.

In other words Star Trek canon only counts what happens in television and film to be true. So the events in this book cannot happen.  We already know after Star Trek III that these stories don't exist.....or do they?

Star Trek is famous for it's alternate realities and multiple universes.  This series and issue are no different.  The story itself is pretty good nd has a lot of potential of getting even better.  Even after nearly thirty years this is a good story, and I highly recommend it.  Especially to Star Trek fans.  Enjoy a new Star Trek world.  Look into the what could have been.  I really enjoyed the book and gave it four out of five stars.

Thanks Mike W. Barr, I was going to read that! Now I know it's not good! Just kidding, I had already read one issue, I knew it wasn't good.Anyway, the issue itself was okay, with some glaring exceptions. Most of the problems with this issue have to do with it's sl...
