Using the Violet Light of love, members of the Star Sapphire Corps are given star-shaped sapphires, the source of their power, by the Zamarons, the female counterpart of the Guardians of the Universe. Edit
Members of these Corps are given star sapphires, each one connected to the Violet Light of Love, like the Green Lantern rings to their central Power Battery. But the power of the sapphire is brought out of love instead of willpower (GL). Their purpose is to spread love throughout all sectors of the universe.
After having problems with the gemstones because these possessed their users, the Zamarons started to make Star Sapphire rings so the user could have control over the stone instead. That way, the power was easier to control.
Members of these Corps are the Zamarons and all those who've been Star Sapphire agents.
The Corps are located in a planet encased in violet crystal (the Star Sapphires). The planet emits the "Violet Light of Love" which is the source of the Star Sapphires power.
