    It used to be that way when the Star Sapphire stone controlled a woman. It wasn't so much the stone's bearer that hated the Green Lantern, but the stone possessed and controlled its user to find its chosen Earth-mate (Hal Jordan although other beings have been the target of Sapphires). The aggressive behavior did make them enemies, but it was more the stone than the woman.
     
    The Zamarons realized their stones controlled beings too much so there came then ring and lantern motif. Since then, the Corps do get along as the Star Sapphires seemed to take more offense at those who spread fear or hate.

    moreso opposition then actual enemies. one gets in the way of the others end goals.

    they were considered more of a villain before blackest night, if you wanted to categorize them as anything.
