Rann awoke to discover his home planet, Homeworld, was subjugated by the tyrant Baron Karza. He helped form the Micronauts to save Homeworld and end Karza's reign of terror.
The man who calls himself The Redeemer was once Prince Acroyear of the planet Spartak, who had given his life to undo the catastrophic damage Baron Karza inflicted upon Homeworld, for reasons unknown he came back to life as the living embodiment of The Enigma Force within the Microverse.
Princess Mari was the daughter of the King and Queen of Homeworld. When Baron Karza killed her parents and enslaved their planet, she helped lead the underground resistance fighters on Homeworld, before joining Commander Arcturus Rann as a member of the Micronauts.
Biotron is the robot who serves as Commander Arcturus Rann's personal assistant and constant companion. During Commander Rann's initial 1000 year exploration of the Microverse, Biotron served as Rann's remote explorer and the two were able to link telepathically. He continued to serve faithfully until he was destroyed during the Karza Wars. Fortunately his memory banks were recovered and he has since been destroyed and rebuilt several times.
Former king of Spartak, Acroyear fights as a Micronaut against Baron Karza, the tyrant of Microverse, with super-strength and the unique abilities of his race of super warriors.
Microtron is the personal robot of Mari, princess of Homeworld. He never abandons her while she joins the underground and the micronauts, fighting Baron Karza.
Master thief of Kaliklak, Bug joined commander Rann and the Micronauts in order to fight Baron Karza, dreadful ruler of his Universe.

Former Royal Chief Scientist of Homeworld, Karza used his astonishing technology to overthrow the monarchy of Homeworld and took control of a big part of the Microverse before he was ultimately defeated by the Micronauts.
Time Traveler is the common name for an aspect of The Enigma Force which acts through an infinite number of physical humanoid shells. All of its shells are identical to Arcturus Rann except for the first which was representative of the originator of the Enigma Force and the creator of the Microverse, Prince Wayfinder.

Argon was the son of the royal couple of Homeworld, planet of the Microverse. Like the Micronauts, He led the resistance versus the one who kills his family and takes control of his planet, Baron Karza.

Slug was the leader of the Underground on the planet Homeworld, enslaved by Baron Karza. She fell in love with the prince Argon and helped the Micronauts defeating Karza.

Mimic is a super-human with the ability to copy the powers and abilities of others. He was the first new recruit to the original X-Men team and later a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Excalibur and Norman Osborn's X-Men team before rejoining the X-Men at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.

Cain Marko, also known as the Juggernaut, is the step-brother of X-Men founder Charles Xavier and the avatar of Cyttorak. Powered by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, Marko is bestowed virtually limitless brute strength and durability which he mostly uses for criminal pursuits and wanton destruction. The Juggernaut is considered one of the strongest and most powerful beings on Earth.
During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.
Ronald Rankin was the father of Calvin Rankin, the sometimes advisory, sometimes helper to the X-men teams. He was a scientist.
Colonel Hendershoot is Lieutenant General Fredricks/ Fredericks right-hand-man. Similarly powerless against the Vanisher and Count Nefaria.
Lieutenant General Fredricks is a minor Marvel character created by Jack Kirby. He is rather similar in appearance to Thaddeus Ross and has turned up in various Fantastic Four and X-Men stories.
Steve Coffin is the son of Ray Coffin, the original Captain Universe, and was the second human to become Captain Universe. In the years since losing The Uni-Power, Steven has become obsessed with regaining it by any means possible.
