She was bitten by Baron Blood way back in the first Invaders series. I like when they build on existing stuff like that.

She has recieved two blood transfusions from the original Human Torch. One when she was originaly biten by Baron Blood. This transfusion was supposedly have cancelled-out Baron's blood. Then the second transfusion restored her youth. Maybe now that the Torch is dead and no more tranfusions can happen. That Baron's blood has just laid dormant within her all these years. Or maybe the Baroness finally got a hold of her. I must say that I just can't wait to find out.
