Jenny is behind bars facing a murder wrap. Meanwhile, the Troubleshooters test their new super-science. Plus, the return of a deadly foe from the past may foreshadow the beginning of the end.
Synopsis
This issue began with Steel Hawk once again, apparently recovered completely from his leg-breaking battle with the Spitfire suit, as he prepared for his mission to kill England's Prime Minister. Of course, he had another session of witty banter with his Club contact, first, as he shot some targets and performed some other last minute tasks.
Meanwhile, Jenny was finally released from jail, as the police no longer had enough evidence to hold her captive (the M.A.X. suit was gone, after all). During Jenny's release, Terry had some sort of emotional breakdown, admitting to Eduardo that she was mad at Jenny for putting their lives at risk, and that she loved the guy.
After this mess, Terry decided to rally the Troubleshooters to investigate Krotze's death, and with them in tow, she broke into the local Police computers with her Think-Tank suit. They did so, and found a lead to follow that went straight to that Steel Hawk's place; of course, they then went right up there to check the house out.
Upon their arrival, the Troubleshooters were assaulted by the automatic assault systems that Steel Hawk uses to hone his battle skills, and the systems put the Troubleshooters through their paces until Andy showed up to use his 'Beam-Splitter' to smash the weaponry up. And then the team found out the important stuff.
They'd found stuff to implicate Steel Hawk in Krotze's murder (namely that steel bat and lots of blood and stuff all over the front room), and his plans to blow up the Prime minister of England tacked up to the wall. Knowing that they only had half an hour to prevent the terrorist act, the Troubleshooters made back to Boston with top speed...
