    The Board

    After being found in the Basement of Halliwell Manor by Prue, the Spirit Board led Phoebe to the Attic where she found the Book of Shadows. Without the Spirit Board the Charmed Ones may not have ever received their powers.

    The board is crafted out of wood and marked in the center with a triquetra. On the back it is inscribed with a message from Patty Halliwell to her daughters. The message reads “To my three beautiful girls, May this give you the light to find the shadows. The power of three will set you free. Love, Mom”. The pointer (or planchette) is engraved with the triquetra as well.

    Other than helping the Charmed Ones receive their powers, the board has assisted the sisters on various occasions. These include finding lost persons, contacting those who have passed on or are on another plane, and for contacting Billie when they were unable to help themselves out of a tricky situation.
