In Spiderwoman Origins #2 and 3, it was shown she was trained in hand to hand combat by Taskmaster. A character who has the ability to copy and move he sees (with in the ability of a normal human)

Very creative and interesting idea. Incorporating the comic Spider-Woman into a larger cultural mythos stretching back to the religious traditions of ancient Greece and India...that's the kind of research you can really sink your teeth into. I'd love to see the completed thesis.
