Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became the Amazing Spider-Man!
@DarkChris: Yeah it was a pretty good arc (wasn't so keen on the build up to it but the actual 4 part series was awesome). Imo although Spidey was weaker in "Grim hunt" than he was in "Back in black" I felt he was definitely a lot more ruthless in GH.
Spider-Man consecutively fighting again every single battle he had ever been in for his entire career until that point in time during Happy Birthday is one of the best kick-ass moments for me. Talk about sheer willpower.
Was Spidery still holding back? One punch from him is able to impale the kingpin.
Yes, his goal here wasn't to kill Kingpin but humiliate him. This fight took place surrounded by the Kingpins thugs. Pete just wanted to beat the crap out of him to show them how powerless he was.
Couldn't find the pic, but it's from an early Spider-Man story "If This Be My Destiny". He's trapped under heavy machinery, tired from a fight with Doc Ock, water is flooding the room, Aunt May is near death, and only Spidey can save her. He reaches down deep and puts everything he has into getting free.
Damn, I would need a bigger thread... But I can give to you all a summary:
Everytime he shows that great amount of will-power...Everytime he fights for others instead for himselfEverytime he is able to be funny in serious moments.Everytime he says that phrace...Everytime he inspires someone else with his actions...
For this and more, Spider-man is my favourite hero...

I assume this is what your referring to?
It was also replayed during the whole Dormammu incident:
Here's another one, in a team-up with the X-Men, the heroes lose round 1 to Professor Power. As PP leaves with the X-Men, Spidey manages to sneak aboard. To buy Jean time to free the rest of the team, Spider-Man takes on over 100 of Power's guards, and beats them all.
@PunyParker: If you like Deadpool Spider-man team-ups then read "Suicide Kings" there was some completely epic moments in that between Wade and Parker. Mostly because Deadpool and Spider-man were driving DareDevil mad lol:

I wished that they had added the Black Widow and Jessica Drew to the Grim Hunt storyline.
@PunyParker: Because it's a well known fact that Dan Slott doesn't like the idea of Spider-Man being in a relationship with a female super hero. This was why when Mark Waid did a Daredevil and Black Cat guest appearance in ASM #677, why would Felicia brush off Spider-Man's advances towards her in favor of Daredevil when usually she would take advantage of Spider-Man being single again? Slott might have told Mark Waid not to go there. And Spider-Man never appears desperate in front of Felicia to begin with. And why on Earth would Spider-Man ever reject the advances of Silver Sable by bringing up MJ's name to her when he's not in a relationship at the moment? I think that Slott is playing around Spider-Man when it comes to his relationship with a heroine. Something that has never bothered Peter Parker in the past.
