I though it might be a good idea to set up a poll and figure out who should really be writing Spider-man, so I found a list of 25 writers who either are writing or have written Spider-man.

I also enabled multiple choices as I know some might have more than one preference or some of the writers listed are retired from the industry.

    Joe Quesada

    Fred Van Lente
    Todd Dezago
    Howard Mackie

Dan Slott has been doing a great job at it so far. As long as Lee isn't vying for the chance again I say let Slott keep it until he tires.

Sorry about that, I'm not that well versed on who all the writers are, and the list I found didn't list him. Unfortunately I can't edit the post to include him

If Yost was an option, I'd choose him. JMS it is.

I would like to apologise to everyone, who would have voted for Chris Yost, for not including him in the list.

Unfortunately I am not well versed on who all the writers of Spider-man are and got the names from a list I found, sadly Chris Yost wasn't on it.

If I could, I would add his name, but unfortunately unlike normal posts you can't do a full edit to a poll, which means if I am to add him I would need to create a new poll.

I really like what Dan Slott has been doing on Spider-Man but I'm also not really knowledgable on writers. What did JMS and Yost write spidey-wise? I know Yost is writing Scarlet Spider and it's amazing but has he written Spider-Man books?

Yeah. He's writing Avenging Spider-man at the moment and completely rocking it. Yost would be my choice.
