Who ever drew Spectacular Spiderman TAS.

Lol The art for that show was HORRIBLE.... It was hard to believe they were people with those dis proportionate legs and such. Its nothing but a kid's show and its so over rated.

All I see is a pop smart teenager/guy. PP is a dork, bookworm and a geek. Steve Ditko and John Romita have shown this the best.

Todd McFarlan

Indeed. John Romita's illustrations were fantastic, and to me it's the standard of what any Spiderman character should appear like.

Funny I could say the same about the overrated 90's cartoon series Spider-man with its recycled scenes, overly developed designs that were too focus on making it look like a comic over creating a quality made animation and he was so slow he made Batman TAS look like the Flash.

We're getting off-topic.....the title says "Who draws the best PETER PARKER?? " NOT Spider-Man......

dont diss the 90s series. It was great i dont care what anyone says and the animation resembled the comics and great effort was put into it. Thats all that matters. It was good for its time.

@paperdemon: Am I seriously the ONLY one who actually liked the art in SSM? It just feels so fitting to the tone of the series.

Both SSM and TAS were great shows, both where aimed towards kids, and both managed to appeal to all ages.

#41 Edited by tigerkaya (1281 posts) - - Show Bio

@thetrolldance: I actually like the SSM style far more than the 90's animated series. He moved more fluidly than his counterpart. 90's version was trying far to hard in making it look like a comic.

if I wanted a comic version cartoon I would have watched the old marvel cartoons from the 60's.
