I really want to read to get ready for Superior Spider-man, but I'm not going to read 700 issues lol. What's a good starting point?

Either start at the beginning of Dan Slott's run (Brand New Day) or Spider-Island.

I always say a perfect place to start is Spider Island

It all depends. Slott has said that if you start at Amazing Spider-man 698 you will be completely in the loop for when Superior Spider-man starts. However if you want to read the other stuff to dig a little deeper I would recommend Grim Hunt its part of what sets up Spider-Island. If you don't want to read Grim Hunt skip to Spider-Island but I recommend reading it!

I'll state here, just start at Grim Hunt as recommended. Awesome story.
