well heres the deal marvel said superiot spiderman was new permanent spidey -but now with peters spirit returning and throwing venom off his body now every1 knows he will come back sooner or later. otherwise why would he be brought back?- hers the thing though i happen to love superior spiderman and will be sad to see otto go- but i hope he atleast keeps the gadgets and costume(which is awsome) what do u think he should keep ottos suit and just change the black to blue or go back to classic suit? i obviously want him to stick with ottos suit and cool tech
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17251 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
when peter parker returns - keep the costume and gadgets?
Ramos has already said they're going back to classic red-and-blues. As for the gadgets the spider-bots are too Big Brother for Peter, and I doubt anything else will be brought up again. The comm system in his webshooters could stick though.
Pete can Create new gadgets that blow ocks away...are we forgetting ock himself found out his intellect is inferior to petes?
Whatever happens he needs to update that old costume, he's like the only character in the entire MU that hasn't had a permanent update to his clothes

Why does everyone talk crap about the costume? It's a classic. It's iconic.
On topic: He'll trash the Spiderbots, the Island, the minions, the mechs, etc, but I bet some of those mechs will get out on the market somehow. So that'll be something he'll have to deal with.
As for the costume and gear... It would be foolish for Pete NOT to see what Ock did in his time and learn something. I can see him taking a more tech active approach to his crime fighting from now on. Maybe make minor alterations to the costume to accommodate the additional tech, such as a version of Ock's Spider Backpack.
@jonsmith: Doesn't mean it cant be updated, I mean Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, Superman, Batman have all had updates yet Peter is still in his old ass costume

In Superman's case, his changes have been mostly on the same scale as Peter dropping the armpit webs. And how would you suggest he update his costume? Best I can think of would be something like this:
And even this swings a bit too close to Ben Reilly's outfit for me to count as a real update.

I like that, I also really love Ben's costume
@jonny_anonymous: That make two of us, i love ben's costume, it's my second favorite
He should definitely keep SpOck's costume and some of the gear. I doubt he'll keep the island (as cool as it is) or the minions or the spider-bots around the city or the giant mechs but the least he could do is keep the costume

its kinda like all the a-lister marvel characters have updated their costumes to modern times and spidey is the only one still stuck in the 60's!he looks out of date look at it this way if DC kept superboy in his leather jacket, faded hair cut and earing he would still look like a 90's kid but they updated him for today time so he doesnt look ridiculous. his 90's look costume was cool 2 but it doesnt work now. spidey has a classic costume but it needs a modern touch to it
@jonsmith: I didn't realize iconic meant ugly as hell.
On Topic: Honestly there isn't much you can change to Spidey's suit to update it. All that's there is to make it like the movie costume. Other than that all that you can't really have a permanent change cause it won't have the iconic-ness of the red and blues. Except some of the changed they made to the first superior suit I could see that being a long time costume change.
I didn't realize iconic meant ugly as hell.
FINALLY! Someone gets it! Well done, sir.

That's because all the characters you mentioned, have terrible original costumes
@jonny_anonymous: I turned my Spiderman halloween costume into the Ben one with a magic marker =0

@jonsmith: Heh, ya I loved that litte exchange between Spidey and Luke. That and the part when Parker and Logan are talking about the Black suit.

no they dont - they were all nice costumes for the time. but now that only because their costumes have been updated and look cooler it makes their original costumes seem lame.
